axis

I know that we have our axis down but Ms. Wylie said that we should brain storm right?
But one of the axis will definitely be money/economy.
We would like to go with awareness (media)
but there are other options such as:

location (in the jungles of Vietnam it is easy to die from all the insects/animals/etc. and it is hard to reach those places)

government (places like North Korea people are not really allowed to visit/help out etc.)

natural disasters (self explanatory)

employees/volunteers

& we said that our "wild card"(s) were natural disasters, terrorist attacks, etc.

NEED YOUR INPUT:
i'm looking at our local american red cross chapter for someone to contact. who do you think would be the right choice? i've cut out some of their biography details. focus on their experience and credentialsmy gut instinct is connie chavira, but what do you think about the others?

remember our phase 1 write up is due by the end of this week (or is the next?) so should we split up the work?
an idea:
1. "picture of now"
2. identify key trends and driving forces of the past, and projections of the future
3. identifications of jobs and interview oracle
4. create scenario and do research on drivers that lead to trends, scan environment for uncertainties and predetermined "givens"(look in your packet for further info)

since i'm finding the oracle, can i do #3? no one has responded yet so i will send out some more emails. i'm thinking of one more from UCLA, 1-2 from PCC (might be easier to get a response), and maybe 1 from a big global charity like American Red Cross

As for the jobs, i'd like to the archivist of drivers. and remember that nothing's absolute. we'll all be working together as a story weaver, but think of it as being the Captain story weaver ;)
